Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning treats scars using an instrument called a dermatome. The dermatome is a handheld instrument that resembles a razor and has oscillating blades that move back and forth to evenly skim off the surface layers of skin around the scarred areas.
Dermaplaning is a procedure in which the skin is manually exfoliated to remove dead skin buildup and fine hairs.
